Here's a little trip down memory lane...

This is Pim (right). She's one of the raddest people in the world right now and she ordered me and my lady the best meal of our freakin' lives in a little back alley in the outskirts of Bangkok.



God bless the Thai people for making things look so delicious no matter which way you turn.



The mise en place unparalleled.



REAL papaya salad... or is it mango salad... they look the same.



This stuff's called "lab" (below). Kindof like a Korean BBQ bul go gi thing served with mint leaves. (((weaps)))

Guay jup: Soup of soups. On special request (and thankfully Pim told the guy to leave the gizzards out informing him that we were white people and white people don't like spleen in their soup so much), this noodle soup DESTROYED all noodle soups before and after. Sorry Malaysian laksa, I've found a new mistress.



And it all came from carts lined up down the street like this. (((dumfounded)))

B'day burger

Here it is... my birthday burger.



As you can see, I like ketchup... lots of it smothered all over that f'n thing. And it was delish... so delish that I could hardly contain my salivary glands... Do I need to tell you it came from Peter Luger's? The greatest place to get a burger in the whole wide world? Do I really need to say that even though it's sofuckingobvi?



And don't forget that 1/4" slab of perfectly smokey, grilled bacon that tastes like the way a dream feels when you wrest control of it and your butterfly wings sprout and all of a sudden you're flying over all your friends and showing off how awesome your butterfly wings are.

SKITTLES: CRAZY CORE = CRACK CORE

I'm still up and it's 4:40. My gf is snoozing and I'm buzzing like a crack bunny lab animal test guinea pig rat thing.



The core wasn't all that crazy... but they are more delicious and tasty sugary sweet than you could imagine an artificially sweet thing to be.



I threw out the wrapper otherwise I'd list all the ingreeds... but this place has better pics... and way more info...
